Job Summary:
The Economic Historian will be responsible for conducting thorough research, analysis, and documentation of economic events, trends, and policies throughout history. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain databases and archives of historical economic information, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and organization.

- Present research findings, theories, and analysis through written reports, presentations, and other mediums to internal and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with academic institutions, industry experts, and other researchers to exchange knowledge, conduct joint research projects, and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, including mentoring and training as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Economics, Economic History, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Economic Historian or similar role, showcasing expertise in economic theories and historical research.
- In-depth knowledge of economic systems, theories, and concepts, with a focus on their historical development and impact on societies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex economic data and trends, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Proficiency in historical research methods, including archival research, data mining, and primary source analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software, database management, and other relevant research tools.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a diverse and interdisciplinary team environment.
